VAR Overanalyzes The Beautiful Game

Creativity and mistakes are part of The Beautiful Game, so let it be. A centimeter here, a centimeter there. A goal disallowed here, a goal disallowed there. What’s it all, really? It’s overanalysis. Content Marketing and The Gift That It Should Be

Content marketing is about giving.  In business, there is a time to ask for the sale. But you need the people you communicate with to trust you. Trust is not built when you sell your product or service on first contact. This isn’t necessarily about that championship t-shirt someone sells. Although even then, the consumer needs to trust the website and shipping.

Media Betting on Sports Betting

Thinking through media and sports betting There was a time where gambling content had a sleazy feel to it. That’s probably because mainstream media was not talking about it. Do You Control the Pace?

We all think of speed around the track as the main aspect of NASCAR, but before we get to witness the speed, we see a pace car controlling the speed.

I’m fascinated by pace in business. Not everyone can move at the same pace–so it’s up to the leaders to push and control the pace of the individuals and the team. Push the pace all the time and you may wear out your team. Don’t push the pace enough and you may fall behind.
Think about pace in your business as it relates to NASCAR.

If nothing else, who doesn’t appreciate a good view of one of Charlotte’s most iconic venues–Charlotte Motor Speedway.

What will be your pace in business this week?

If you have images or videos and would like to contribute to SportsEpreneur, hit us up in the DM! We’d love to feature it and you.

Finite Games Provide Lessons to the Infinite

What can finite games like sports teach us about business? A game (say a football game) has a winner and a loser. It’s finite. Meaning “having bounds or limits” as defined by Dictionary.com.
