Colorado’s sustained run starts with three players:
- Nathan MacKinnon – Consistently in the Hart Trophy conversation. A two-way center who drives possession and finishes at an elite level.
- Cale Makar – Two-time Norris winner. Might be the best transition defenseman in NHL history.
- Mikko Rantanen – Physical, skilled, reliable. Produces every year without the headlines.
All three are locked in long-term. All three are in their primes. That stability is rare.
